JP came over to help me understand and give me solutions on crawlspace that other contractors did not want to go into. He helped me understand what's included in the solution and why its going make a big change to my home. He spent a quite a bit of time (almost 2 hours) taking all my questions/concerns and giving me feedback and answers that made sense to me. The work is some what extensive and he helped me get a great price. Just by the amount of time he put into getting me the right solution for a great price, I am excited to see the work and enjoy the completed solution.

IBA installed a new sump pump for us in February 2024, and we’ve had multiple interactions with their team over the past year. First, Jade (the foreman) and his crew installed the sump pump on 2/12/24. Then, I believe on 2/29/24, Nick and another team member returned to trench outside and connect the discharge to the city system. A few months later, another crew member (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) came out for some warranty work. Most recently, on 2/12/25, Devon T. completed the one-year maintenance. This review is long overdue for all of them! Every IBA team member we've worked with—including the estimators—has been outstanding. They have all been respectful, punctual, neat, thorough, and excellent communicators, keeping us informed throughout each step of the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend IBA and their entire team. Thank you IBA and your team!

Collin also, let us know what to expect the following day, and kept us well informed to the progress of the project while on site. Our basement wall had developed cracks in a couple areas and there was also a hard, white crust that developed along the grout lines of the cynder blocks. I was worried about this enough where I called Groundworks to see what they thought. Kevin, their inspector, arrived right on time and looked at the wall in the basement as well at the area outside of the house that's above this wall. When he was done inspecting, and taking many measurements with a laser, he gave a detailed assessment, with quotes, for improvements he recommended. Kevin was very polite and friendly and didn't try pressuring me with huge repair costs. He did a great job explaining what was taking place and developed an effective plan of action with me. I intended to get several quotes for this work but since Kevin's honesty was very apparent, I didn't bother.

We had a drainage system installed in our basement in 2020 after flooding occurred. Everything has been working great, but we scheduled a maintenance check in spring of 2026, just in case. Michael B. came out to do the inspection and we were impressed with his thorough and detailed work. He identified where the purchased dehumidifier was discharging air against a wall and installed a vent to redirect the discharge free of charge. He clearly communicated his findings from the inspection. We feel confident in knowing how to care for our system moving forward.

From the first contact, I felt cared about. When all is said and done, the terrible daunting problem of rain flooding my basement is now gone and I have to pinch myself to be sure it's real. We engaged groundworks to install hydraulic piers under cracked and sagging garage floors. Our terrific install team of Marc and Brandon performed a detailed analysis after they arrived, including drilling and measuring our slab depths along the sinking wall. They determined that unfortunately our slab itself was variable in depth and not thick enough throughout to support the work of hydraulic piers. Instead they were able do foam injections throughout to both give 30-50% of the targeted lift and provide additional slab depth and support to prevent future cracking. It wasn't what we hoped, but they did a great job of explaining the limitations of our site and providing the best intervention possible, all at a greatly reduced cost! Thanks, Marc and Brandon!!

Went with this local waterproofing service after a friend recomended them, and I have to say it worked out pretty well. The crew showed up on time and walked me thru what they were doing, which helped me feel more relaxed about the whole thing. Basement used to get a little damp after heavy rain, but since they finished the job it’s been dry and doesn’t have that musty smell anymore. Price felt fair for the work, and everyone was friendly enough. Not overly fancy, just solid work, I’d definately use them again if I needed it.

Well, this is the second time I’ve had groundwork’s come do a project, the first time, they waterproofed part of my basement, this time they finished it. I will let the past be the past, there is no sense in bringing up old dirt but I will tell you I was very skeptical about calling them again. I almost went with a whole new company to come in and just see what they could do so I didn’t have to deal with them again. This time around was so easy and so quick, the crew that came out was very knowledgeable and so kind. When John my sales tech came out, I think he was here for around 4 hours! While I drilled him with questions, he was very patient and understanding of my concerns. I am very happy with the way it turned out and I would recommend groundwork’s to anyone looking to waterproof their basement!

Dion Rozummy & Nick Schmid arrived promptly as promised for a 2 day project. They removed another companies' failed attempt at resolving a bowed basement wall that has been an ongoing headache for over a year, and replaced it with IBA product. They did an AWESOME job!! :))) They didn't mind me asking questions along the way, were courteous, very prompt!, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. 👍🏻 I actually asked about another issue, that IBA unfortunately does not work on. Having a massive foundation repair is a very stressful experience. If you find yourself in this boat, go with IBA. We have a 77 year old house and we ended up with multiple unexpected problems and the team took care of everything that popped up with professionalism and honesty. We were supposed to have work from Mon-Thur. Due to the additional problems discovered, the team stayed out until Sunday to ensure everything was done right. Couldn’t be happier. I had a service call today for a recent sump installation from last Summer. I unfortunately had a poor initial experience with IBA and was half-expecting a similar experience this time. But I was very wrong. Ricky Oudekerk came to my house on time, took time to listen to my concerns and expertly diagnosed. On his own initiative he took the time to walk me through the sump system and its parts and explained what he was testing. I am new to Minnesota and to sumps generally, and this time was very much appreciated. It turned out I needed a new pump due to a bad component, and he diagnosed it and replaced all within a couple of hours. I was surprised and relieved by the experience. Based on this experience, I will consider IBA again for a future project. Thanks so much.

The installers Isaiah McKeown and Chris Popouich, called us the day before and the day of the installation to let us know their arrival time. We walked through the project site and reviewed the contract. They answered all questions we had. As they installed the product, they were very careful and protect our property. After the completion of the project, they cleaned up and walked us through the project site. Both Isaiah and Chris were very professional and helpful.
