I had five competitive estimates from other companies but the guarantees, price, and options provided by Innovative were hard to beat. Since working with them, their customer service has been top notch.Piers/Beams – Lance and Kyle were the BEST. That was one intense job to dig up the basement and install piers/beams. They were knowledgeable, helpful, conscientious of the house, and personable to work with. They deserve 10 stars.Estimates – Thank you to Chris and Travis for the competitive estimates. Chris was always willing to work with me to provide the most competitive quote with good options. Travis has met all the challenges with insulation and foam. Thank you for all the follow up as well.Foam – Front Steps – Gunnar and Logan stabilized my front steps with foam. They were very considerate of walking through every step, the risks, and the warnings with completing this job. I appreciated their customer centric approach.Foam – Basement – Mark and Andrew were great as well with the basement foam insulation. My team did an amazing job. Josh walked me through everything before they started to make sure we were on the same page. Travis, Brandon and Andrew broke up and carried out enough concrete to make my back ache. It was rainibg the day they started and water was starting to come in. The entire job was done in 2 days and Brady walked through with me at the end to make sure all was good. Even during the heavy rains my basement is dry. I am very happy!

I called Groundworks due to a sinking sidewalk and driveway issue on my 1-year-old build that I had purchased 6 months ago. Groundworks sent out John Maness who was the most professional, and knowledgeable inspector i have ever dealt with when dealing with companies that provide home services! Even though the company is located in Fargo, they sent him out in less than a week, and he was willing to work around my busy work schedule. Johns thorough attention to detail when inspecting my home highlighted not only the issue with my concrete, but also a few hidden issues with moisture that I did not know that I had. John was prepared with all the tools and knowledge necessary to inspect my house, and had a proposal ready to fix my issues within 2 hours! What was even more mind-blowing was the actual cost to repair my concrete, and mitigate the moisture issues that I had with my home was beyond reasonable!!! Also the after service care and service that will come with my repairs and equipment is amazing!!! This company is top-notch and they will not sell you anything they do not need. I had other questions about some things that I noticed with my foundation that i had concerns about. I was informed by john that they're not here to sell me something that I don't need and he was able to show me why the the perceived issues that I had were in fact not an issue. The whole process of repairs were outlined in easy to understand videos showing the root cause of my issues and how they can fix those issues permanently, not just a bandaid! The best part about it is they will come out annually to check their work and make sure that everything is still in working order, and that the repairs that they have made on my concrete is in fact still doing its job!! They had many options for payment to include financing at an amazing rate if someone were unable to afford the repair costs. The whole process was smooth and painless. I would 10/10 recommend ground works for any foundations issues that I had to anyone!!!! Thank you Groundworks for helping me protect my investment!

On 12/4/25 the Rush City crew was out for 2 days to remove pavers & a ramp from the garage then dig up floor to make a trench to install anchors to the back of the brick wall which was bowed. Each of the crew (Austin F., Andrew W., RJ, Brandon & Dakota) was friendly & the foreman gave us constant updates on arrival times, access to garage, etc. We would highly recommend them for future projects.

Bryce Jacovetti came out to our house today to inspect and assess an area of block wall that was a concern to us. He checked our garage floor and walls, walked the outside foundation, checked the inside lower level and main floors. He then set up a laser level and checked the main floor for level. It was all level to 1/4 “. Then Bryce took his laser to the wall that had the area of concern and checked that for plumb. That too was within 1/4 “. Bryce then gave his assessment and told me there was no cause for concern and did not meet a grade 1, lowest level of foundation movement. What a relief! My wife had a sleepless night or two, worrying about this. I can’t thank Bryce enough for coming out and Groundworks for being a great company! Would 100% recommend!

Groundwork's came to my house today for an estimate of my steps and garage. The technician that came named Chaz went above and beyond. Showed me what was happening to my steps and garage. He explained the whole process that they would take to remedy the problem.He also help easing the mind by testing for moisture in my house. I believe they go above and beyond to help with costumer's needs and problems. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone how is having issues with foundation and more.

Chad arrived on time for a one-year inspection of work completed last year. He was friendly, thorough, and professional. While inspecting the interior foundation, he noticed that I didn't have a backup sump system and provided a no-pressure quote. An hour and a half later I had a nice backup system in place – something I've wanted to take care of for 30 years – finally done! 🙂

Anthony, Daniel, and Abdul – Innovative Basement Authority (Groundworks) were very easy to work with and completed the job a full day earlier than expected. The work itself appears to have been done well. One concern was dust control. We had planned to remove items in adjacent rooms; however we were told it wasn’t necessary. Unfortunately, there was more dust than expected. Overall, good work, but better dust containment would improve the experience.

We had an absolutely positive experience from David, our salesman, as well as the crew. Collin, the crew foreman, was very responsive to any questions, concerns and greeted us each morning on the jobsite. Collin also, let us know what to expect the following day, and kept us well informed to the progress of the project while on site. I highly recommend IBA to anyone looking to have their crawlspace or anything "basementy"! Thanks David and crew! After the encapsulation, I might even venture into our clean, non-musty smelly, critter free crawlspace! I am most excited for warmer floors!! Whoop, whoop!
