I had some bowing and cracking in my cinder block basement wall and Groundworks mitigated the issue by adding vertical bracing to the affected wall. I also had water leaking in which was caused mold issues so they also installed a new drainage system in the basement and sealed the walls to prevent water coming in. This treatment provided stability to prevent further movement. The braces were also adjustable to allow for further corrections which were included in the original work. Today, Michael Bowers came out to provide that follow up annual inspection and maintenance. He thoroughly tested the new drainage system they installed and took measurements to baseline whether the walls were stable. Michael explained everything to me and noted some other areas we should keep an eye on without trying to upsell me which I appreciated. He was friendly and thorough. I would recommend using Groundworks and give Michael a high review rating.

Today Bryce Jacovetti from Groundworks came to look at a crack in the foundation of my house that was leaking water. He discovered that the water was actually coming from a city water main that broke causing water to go under the foundation. He was very helpful and worked with me to get the HOA maintenance folks over to try to shut off the water. The city maintenance folks have to come over to shut the water off because it's the city water line that is broken. In the meantime, he helped me with what are the documentation and evidence gathering to do for insurance purposes. I'm very grateful he was here to diagnose and walk me through this. Thanks again Bryce!

I had IBA install a mix of Intellijacks and carbon strips in on one of my basement walls. Dylan really hung in there on the prior project and came up with a workable solution for me — I felt he went far out of his way and demonstrated care that is rare.. During the yearly follow up for that work (which is holding up), it was identified that some Intellijacks for foundation beams would help solidify my house (the beams were wood and not large enough, so the house was shifting). Ricky did a great job explaining the situation and my options. He also spoke at length with me and took time to help me understand when I had questions and got confused. Jeremiah T and Mark F. did the work and were excellent. It was invasive work, but they were pleasant to be around, communicated clearly, were fast, and kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up afterward. No one wants to have this sort of work be necessary — IBA was recommended by a construction friend and I agree they are a good choice if you do need this sort of work. Professional, thorough, and guarantees included with their products and work.

Well, this is the second time I’ve had groundwork’s come do a project, the first time, they waterproofed part of my basement, this time they finished it. I will let the past be the past, there is no sense in bringing up old dirt but I will tell you I was very skeptical about calling them again. I almost went with a whole new company to come in and just see what they could do so I didn’t have to deal with them again. This time around was so easy and so quick, the crew that came out was very knowledgeable and so kind. When John my sales tech came out, I think he was here for around 4 hours! While I drilled him with questions, he was very patient and understanding of my concerns. I am very happy with the way it turned out and I would recommend groundwork’s to anyone looking to waterproof their basement!

The whole process was quick and easy. From the estimate to the end walk through. The technicians were in constant contact and easy to get a hold of if I needed to. They sent updates and pictures and explained everything in a way I could understand. They started on a Monday and finished on a Thursday. Even with some tight spaces they made the crawlspace look amazing and exceeded my expectations. The crawlspace is large, and made the house smell very musty and you could tell there was moisture in the air. They installed jacks and steel beams under the floor joists, before every movement made upstairs you could feel in another room. Now that the project is finished you can't smell anything and the floors don't shake. Would highly recommend if you have a musty crawlspace.

Service technician Michael Bowers came to our home for our annual inspection and to look at a specific issue we’d been having. This same issue had been looked at by another source a year ago with no resolution. It took Michael less than 15 minutes to assess and find the problem. He explained everything to me and had it resolved that afternoon. Beyond his repairs, I found Michael to be a warm and personable individual, taking time to listen and understand my questions and concerns. I appreciated his time and attention to all we discussed related to our home. He made the entire visit easy and pleasant.
