Jacob Kinsella Just completed my annual check on my sump pump and discharge system that was installed by groundwork’s. I cannot say enough, good about how thorough and professional he conducts The inspection. He gave me information straightforward and was more than willing to follow up with any concerns I might have. He even made certain I was able to contact him if I had any concerns. In a time it is challenging to find trustworthy and professional staff, Jacob’s reliability and trustworthiness was greatly appreciated. He has completed this inspection for the last three years and I continue to be impressed!

After a failed attempt by a friend to install new drain tile in my basement, we hired Groundworks. Jarod the estimator was awesome and is a solid, pleasant contact person to deal with. Very happy to have met him as he is and outstanding person. The crew was led by an amazing young man by the name of Ian. He had a work ethic that you just don’t see in this day and age. His crew Skyler and Andreas were awesome and we had zero concerns about them being in our house or about the quality of work they would do. We interacted with all of them, and they are all very pleasant, hardworking young men. Every one of them had great communication skills and kept us informed at every step of the way. I would recommend Groundworks Rush City and Ian and his crew without reservation! Thank you for the hard work guys, you worked your tails off for us, and it is very much appreciated. Robert Palmer, our project consultant, was very personable and professional. He explained our options and shared the technical details for a lasting repair alternative to complete floor replacement. He respected our decision to collect bids from other contractors before committing to any contractors’ proposal. We really liked that the repairs were within our budget and come with a five year warranty that’s extendible in five year increments and is transferrable to the next home owner.

Anthony, Daniel, and Abdul – Innovative Basement Authority (Groundworks) were very easy to work with and completed the job a full day earlier than expected. The work itself appears to have been done well. One concern was dust control. We had planned to remove items in adjacent rooms; however we were told it wasn’t necessary. Unfortunately, there was more dust than expected. Overall, good work, but better dust containment would improve the experience.

If you’re on the fence about who to hire, this is your sign- these are the pros! My partner and I had our crawlspace encapsulated and our foundation corrected. The crew sent out to us were above amazing! Casey Bratholt gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. He was friendly and so very helpful with answering all our questions and getting back to us when we called. The team of three that came out were awesome! They went above and beyond with our service. (They even helped us level out our deck steps with some of the 2×4 we had from our crawlspace!) Leonard Starks, Anthony Heryla, and Michael Dean were amicable, informative, and hard working! They made sure the job got done right! The encapsulation looks clean, and it is easier to move around in! We already notice a difference with our floors and heating throughout the house. These men were so great to have, and we really appreciate all they have done!! If we could give a sixth star for Leonard, Anthony, and Mike’s service, we would! Give these men a raise for their hard work and dedication!

Dustin Latterell was amazing- one of the most courteous and thorough experts I’ve had in my home. He went way above and beyond- took time to share his expertise and make sure I clearly understood the state of my existing system but also everything about the rest of my home- he took careful measurements and was able to put together drawings and specifications while still on site. He took extra care to sit down with me and run through everything he did and all of the recommendations based on the inspection. We talked about what projects that could be advantageous to do now and others that could be done later. Very informative and no-pressure conversation. I know a lot more about my house and garage and the current state of the foundation, and he was able to take a look at my deck and propose a couple quick and easy options that would prevent further sinking without ripping out the deck or yard or a bunch of construction. I genuinely felt like he was treating my house like it was his own- an exceptional level of care. It’s people like Dustin that really make the difference when choosing who to trust with this kind of work. 11 out of 10. Real pros
