I had a service call today for a recent sump installation from last Summer. I unfortunately had a poor initial experience with IBA and was half-expecting a similar experience this time. But I was very wrong. Ricky Oudekerk came to my house on time, took time to listen to my concerns and expertly diagnosed. On his own initiative he took the time to walk me through the sump system and its parts and explained what he was testing. I am new to Minnesota and to sumps generally, and this time was very much appreciated. It turned out I needed a new pump due to a bad component, and he diagnosed it and replaced all within a couple of hours. I was surprised and relieved by the experience. Based on this experience, I will consider IBA again for a future project. Thanks so much.

We were very pleased with his professionalism and quote, and even though we're not deciding to have the work done at this time because of expense, we would definitely recommend Grant to anyone looking to have major basement renovation done in the Bismarck or Sioux Falls area.

I had 2 great teams come today to secure a block wall and raise a sidewalk. Nick and Eric did a great job securing the wall, cleaning up the job site and keeping us informed as the project progressed. They were so Polite and knowledgeable. Gregg and Brandon arrived to raise the sidewalk and seal the joint. Job well done! They were good to keep us informed and answer Our questions. These 4 individuals did good work and represented your company very well. We also appreciate Patrick, the sales rep. He was very through and explained how the solve our problems. This review goes out to our Inspector – Kevin from Groundwork’s in the Twin Cities. My wife and I have a garage floor that is cracked and had sunk a bit, so we reached out to Groundwork’s and a couple of other local firms to assess and quote the needed repairs. Kevin appeared right on time and talked us through the Groundwork’s assessment process. For the next 30 minutes or so, Kevin setup their equipment and analyzed the root cause of the crack and suggestions for repair. We then gathered again to discuss what he found, why the crack occurred, solutions for both the short term and long term, and pricing for each option. This wasn’t a high pressured sales call, this was a team that came prepared to diagnose the problem and present solutions! While it’s too cold to make the repairs in the middle of a MN Winter, we’ll be calling on Kevin come Spring! Well done Groundworks!

We engaged groundworks to install hydraulic piers under cracked and sagging garage floors. Our terrific install team of Marc and Brandon performed a detailed analysis after they arrived, including drilling and measuring our slab depths along the sinking wall. They determined that unfortunately our slab itself was variable in depth and not thick enough throughout to support the work of hydraulic piers. Instead they were able do foam injections throughout to both give 30-50% of the targeted lift and provide additional slab depth and support to prevent future cracking. It wasn't what we hoped, but they did a great job of explaining the limitations of our site and providing the best intervention possible, all at a greatly reduced cost! Thanks, Marc and Brandon!!

The two guys who came out today, Ben Cook and Travis, were awesome. They were efficient and thorough, keeping us informed all the way and answering my husband's numerous questions. Our steps were raised eight inches in one area! This will be the first winter we will not have to cling to the rail due to ice and a huge slope. They even removed and replaced a pot that I had forgotten to move.
