I had some bowing and cracking in my cinder block basement wall and Groundworks mitigated the issue by adding vertical bracing to the affected wall. I also had water leaking in which was caused mold issues so they also installed a new drainage system in the basement and sealed the walls to prevent water coming in. This treatment provided stability to prevent further movement. The braces were also adjustable to allow for further corrections which were included in the original work. Today, Michael Bowers came out to provide that follow up annual inspection and maintenance. He thoroughly tested the new drainage system they installed and took measurements to baseline whether the walls were stable. Michael explained everything to me and noted some other areas we should keep an eye on without trying to upsell me which I appreciated. He was friendly and thorough. I would recommend using Groundworks and give Michael a high review rating.

Ricky from your office did a very good inspection. Tested sump pump and found it was working well and other previous work was all okay. He did inform me of items that might help our heating costs and health concerns so we are glad he made suggestions and looking into these. He was most courteous and answered questions thoroughly and most pleasantly.

Excellent job done by Nick, Gunner and Devon on installing the plates to correct the foundation walls. These guys were very professional, explained everything they were going to do and then just got to it. My sales guy although knowledgeable said they would take two days and these guys were done before 4 pm the first day! I would hire them back any day

They were friendly and courteous, a great team. They cleaned up every day before leaving and left phone numbers if we had additional questions later. They removed another companies' failed attempt at resolving a bowed basement wall that has been an ongoing headache for over a year, and replaced it with IBA product. They did an AWESOME job!! :))) They didn't mind me asking questions along the way, were courteous, very prompt!, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. 👍🏻 I actually asked about another issue, that IBA unfortunately does not work on. Kudos to salesman Dave, Kelly in the Inver Grove office, and especially Project Coordinator Courtney who was instrumental in guiding me into, and thru this very successful project! 👍🏻👍🏻 g

My partner and I just purchased our first home and noted some concerns in the basement. Water intrusion, and a rotted out beam. We had another company come out and give us a bid but it felt like a sales pitch the entire time and didn’t actually provide us with the insight we needed to make an informed decision about our basement and how to proceed. Groundworks was the complete opposite! Our inspector Logan J. was phenomenal – he is so knowledgeable about structural issues and pointed out major red flags that the other company completely skipped over AND our home inspector prior to our purchase didn’t find. We are so incredibly thankful he came out and provided us with the understanding of how structural systems work and very clear ways we can remedy the situation. Because of Logan J., we have a clear plan and we know our home will be in great hands! 🙌

I recently had Ground Work’s complete basement, waterproofing services in my home, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, the team was absolutely outstanding. Gunner, Jose, Ezra, and Nick were extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every step of the process so I felt confident in the work being done. They were respectful of my home, kept the workspace clean, and were always friendly and professional. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. What impressed me the most was how detail oriented they were. They made sure everything was done correctly and didn’t cut any corners. Basement waterproofing is such an important investment, and having a team that truly cares about doing the job right gave me so much peace of mind. If you’re on the fence about who to hire, this is your sign- these are the pros! My partner and I had our crawlspace encapsulated and our foundation corrected. The crew sent out to us were above amazing! Casey Bratholt gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. He was friendly and so very helpful with answering all our questions and getting back to us when we called. The team of three that came out were awesome! They went above and beyond with our service. (They even helped us level out our deck steps with some of the 2×4 we had from our crawlspace!) Leonard Starks, Anthony Heryla, and Michael Dean were amicable, informative, and hard working! They made sure the job got done right! The encapsulation looks clean, and it is easier to move around in! We already notice a difference with our floors and heating throughout the house. These men were so great to have, and we really appreciate all they have done!! If we could give a sixth star for Leonard, Anthony, and Mike’s service, we would! Give these men a raise for their hard work and dedication!
