IBA installed a new sump pump for us in February 2024, and we’ve had multiple interactions with their team over the past year. First, Jade (the foreman) and his crew installed the sump pump on 2/12/24. Then, I believe on 2/29/24, Nick and another team member returned to trench outside and connect the discharge to the city system. A few months later, another crew member (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) came out for some warranty work. Most recently, on 2/12/25, Devon T. completed the one-year maintenance. This review is long overdue for all of them! Every IBA team member we've worked with—including the estimators—has been outstanding. They have all been respectful, punctual, neat, thorough, and excellent communicators, keeping us informed throughout each step of the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend IBA and their entire team. Thank you IBA and your team!

They removed another companies' failed attempt at resolving a bowed basement wall that has been an ongoing headache for over a year, and replaced it with IBA product. They did an AWESOME job!! :))) They didn't mind me asking questions along the way, were courteous, very prompt!, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. 👍🏻 I actually asked about another issue, that IBA unfortunately does not work on. Bryce Jacovetti came out to our house today to inspect and assess an area of block wall that was a concern to us. He checked our garage floor and walls, walked the outside foundation, checked the inside lower level and main floors. He then set up a laser level and checked the main floor for level. It was all level to 1/4 “. Then Bryce took his laser to the wall that had the area of concern and checked that for plumb. That too was within 1/4 “. Bryce then gave his assessment and told me there was no cause for concern and did not meet a grade 1, lowest level of foundation movement. What a relief! My wife had a sleepless night or two, worrying about this. I can’t thank Bryce enough for coming out and Groundworks for being a great company! Would 100% recommend!

I’m very pleased with Innovative Basement Authority and the employees. Our house is well over 100 years old and has needed the foundation stabilized. It was time for the yearly inspection and Jake Kinsella called to schedule. He also let me know on the day that they were coming. Jake Kinsella and Joe Carpenter thoroughly checked the placement of all supports and to see if there were more issues needing attention. They noticed the sump pump was due for replacement and recommended an upgrade to one with battery backup. That day, the sump pump system installation was scheduled. Brandon, Anthony, and Shane came to install the sump pump. They had contacted earlier to let me know when they would be here, so which I really appreciated. The old pump was removed and the new, state of the art sump pump system was installed in the larger hole that was made and it was cemented in. They had prepped the area to avoid an unnecessary mess and cleaned the area afterward. I appreciate how well IBA and employees communicate timely and appropriately. They explain in detail what they do and answer all questions. I have a great sense of peace of the mind knowing the basement is stable, safe, and will be protected from flooding

Wow! I feel like a new person because my house was saved by Innovative Basement Authority who fixed the flooding problem caused by rain getting into my basement. From the first contact, I felt cared about. When all is said and done, the terrible daunting problem of rain flooding my basement is now gone and I have to pinch myself to be sure it's real. Yes, this is a great great trustworthy company that really are heros for saving houses.
