It was a free quote/inspection, and he was very honest and didn't try to scare us or sell us into anything we didn't actually need. The actual quote just came back and seems reasonably priced, too, given the prices for everything these days.

My team did an amazing job. Josh walked me through everything before they started to make sure we were on the same page. Travis, Brandon and Andrew broke up and carried out enough concrete to make my back ache. It was rainibg the day they started and water was starting to come in. The entire job was done in 2 days and Brady walked through with me at the end to make sure all was good. Even during the heavy rains my basement is dry. I am very happy!

Went with this local waterproofing service after a friend recomended them, and I have to say it worked out pretty well. The crew showed up on time and walked me thru what they were doing, which helped me feel more relaxed about the whole thing. Basement used to get a little damp after heavy rain, but since they finished the job it’s been dry and doesn’t have that musty smell anymore. Price felt fair for the work, and everyone was friendly enough. Not overly fancy, just solid work, I’d definately use them again if I needed it.

Pharoah, Will, Angel and Padro called 20 minutes before arriving. Will introduced himself and explained what they would be doing. The team started working. They were respectful as they moved from the basement to their truck covering the floor and minimizing the dust. The job was scheduled for two day but the completed it in one.

Our basement wall had developed cracks in a couple areas and there was also a hard, white crust that developed along the grout lines of the cynder blocks. I was worried about this enough where I called Groundworks to see what they thought. Kevin, their inspector, arrived right on time and looked at the wall in the basement as well at the area outside of the house that's above this wall. When he was done inspecting, and taking many measurements with a laser, he gave a detailed assessment, with quotes, for improvements he recommended. Kevin was very polite and friendly and didn't try pressuring me with huge repair costs. He did a great job explaining what was taking place and developed an effective plan of action with me. I intended to get several quotes for this work but since Kevin's honesty was very apparent, I didn't bother.

After a failed attempt by a friend to install new drain tile in my basement, we hired Groundworks. Jarod the estimator was awesome and is a solid, pleasant contact person to deal with. Very happy to have met him as he is and outstanding person. The crew was led by an amazing young man by the name of Ian. He had a work ethic that you just don’t see in this day and age. His crew Skyler and Andreas were awesome and we had zero concerns about them being in our house or about the quality of work they would do. We interacted with all of them, and they are all very pleasant, hardworking young men. Every one of them had great communication skills and kept us informed at every step of the way. We just had a consultation by Logan J. to look over our basement and exterior grading; we were very pleased with the thoroughness of the inspection and the extensive information Logan was able to offer us. He was up-front about what we should be concerned about vs what are just aesthetic issues, and was able to give us some guidance on controlling moisture in the basement. For now we’re having Groundworks lift some concrete pads around the exterior of our home and plan to use them to lift our front porch this summer or next. I definitely recommend getting a consultation from Groundworks (especially Logan if you can!) to get a good understanding of the state of your home’s basement and foundation with no pressure or sales tactics.

Anthony, Daniel, and Abdul – Innovative Basement Authority (Groundworks) were very easy to work with and completed the job a full day earlier than expected. The work itself appears to have been done well. One concern was dust control. We had planned to remove items in adjacent rooms; however we were told it wasn’t necessary. Unfortunately, there was more dust than expected. Overall, good work, but better dust containment would improve the experience.
