Ben A , Groundworks Service Technician came by today for a check and maintenance visit today of our Groundworks installed products – Basement water tiles and pumps plus our Basement Support Beams. We were impressed by Ben’s professionalism and attention to detail. He gave a common sense explanation to all the work he was performing, while he was doing it. Service technician Michael Bowers came to our home for our annual inspection and to look at a specific issue we’d been having. This same issue had been looked at by another source a year ago with no resolution. It took Michael less than 15 minutes to assess and find the problem. He explained everything to me and had it resolved that afternoon. Beyond his repairs, I found Michael to be a warm and personable individual, taking time to listen and understand my questions and concerns. I appreciated his time and attention to all we discussed related to our home. He made the entire visit easy and pleasant.

Had a tremendous learning experience from Jamie Stegeman a certified field inspector for GROUNDWORKS formerly known as Innovative Basement Authority. Jamie did a very thorough inspection of my basement walls based on my concerns over cracks I noticed in my basement block walls. Using state of the art laser equipment Jamie examined and charted out the various movement taking place with the basement walls. He walked my through the process of his diagnosis and showed with a tape measure against the projected laser readings where my basement walls were both in and outside of engineering structural tolerances. Jamie was very knowledgeable, and patiently and professionally explained a plan to permantently stabilize my basement walls. Thank you Jamie for your expertise and willingness to share your time to help me understand the value of safetly proteting my family for years to come. The work itself appears to have been done well. One concern was dust control. We had planned to remove items in adjacent rooms; however we were told it wasn’t necessary. Unfortunately, there was more dust than expected. Overall, good work, but better dust containment would improve the experience.

I enjoyed working with Patrick and then Isaiah McKeonn and Chris Popovich. They did great work. The concreate was leveled so precisely that I can now role over the transition from the driveway to the garage with my manual wheelchair which I could not do before. Today Bryce Jacovetti from Groundworks came to look at a crack in the foundation of my house that was leaking water. He discovered that the water was actually coming from a city water main that broke causing water to go under the foundation. He was very helpful and worked with me to get the HOA maintenance folks over to try to shut off the water. The city maintenance folks have to come over to shut the water off because it's the city water line that is broken. In the meantime, he helped me with what are the documentation and evidence gathering to do for insurance purposes. I'm very grateful he was here to diagnose and walk me through this. Thanks again Bryce!

Taking on a big project like I had was nerve-racking to think about, but you all put me at ease. The whole process was quick and easy. From the estimate to the end walk through. The technicians were in constant contact and easy to get a hold of if I needed to. They sent updates and pictures and explained everything in a way I could understand. They started on a Monday and finished on a Thursday. Even with some tight spaces they made the crawlspace look amazing and exceeded my expectations. The crawlspace is large, and made the house smell very musty and you could tell there was moisture in the air. They installed jacks and steel beams under the floor joists, before every movement made upstairs you could feel in another room. Now that the project is finished you can't smell anything and the floors don't shake. Would highly recommend if you have a musty crawlspace.

He informed me of some options to help improve the humidity and air in my home along with other issues. Unfortunately at this time I was unable to afford it at this time. John helped me set up my humidifier in the meantime to help with a moisture. I would definitely recommend John and the company ground Works.

We recently had Groundworks perform sidewalk leveling and crack repairs at both Valley View Estates (Byron, MN) and Valley High Apartments (Rochester, MN) and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. The crew was professional, efficient, and kept the work areas remarkably clean throughout the project. Several sections of our sidewalks had settled over time, leaving height differences of approximately 1.5–2 inches. Groundworks was able to lift and level those sections so they are now smooth, safe, and look great. A special thank you to Grant C. and Gabe P. for their outstanding work. They were friendly, professional, took the time to answer questions, and clearly took pride in the quality of their work. It's always appreciated when a crew not only does excellent work but also leaves the job site clean and minimizes disruption. The repairs were completed much faster than I expected, with minimal disruption to our residents. The quality of the finished work exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend Groundworks to anyone needing sidewalk leveling or concrete crack repairs. Excellent experience from start to finish!

Dave & John came out to our house for our regular inspection of a system Innovative installed a couple years ago. They confirmed the system was working perfectly. They also inspected the rest of the house and found the house was tilting towards the walkout side. They recommended settlestop push piers to stabilize the house and keep it locked into place. They explained the problem and solutions clearly and effectively, including the pricing and financing options. I appreciate their thoroughness and straightforward approach. Highly recommend!
