After a failed attempt by a friend to install new drain tile in my basement, we hired Groundworks. Jarod the estimator was awesome and is a solid, pleasant contact person to deal with. Very happy to have met him as he is and outstanding person. The crew was led by an amazing young man by the name of Ian. He had a work ethic that you just don’t see in this day and age. His crew Skyler and Andreas were awesome and we had zero concerns about them being in our house or about the quality of work they would do. We interacted with all of them, and they are all very pleasant, hardworking young men. Every one of them had great communication skills and kept us informed at every step of the way. IBA installed a new sump pump for us in February 2024, and we’ve had multiple interactions with their team over the past year. First, Jade (the foreman) and his crew installed the sump pump on 2/12/24. Then, I believe on 2/29/24, Nick and another team member returned to trench outside and connect the discharge to the city system. A few months later, another crew member (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) came out for some warranty work. Most recently, on 2/12/25, Devon T. completed the one-year maintenance. This review is long overdue for all of them! Every IBA team member we've worked with—including the estimators—has been outstanding. They have all been respectful, punctual, neat, thorough, and excellent communicators, keeping us informed throughout each step of the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend IBA and their entire team. Thank you IBA and your team!

They removed another companies' failed attempt at resolving a bowed basement wall that has been an ongoing headache for over a year, and replaced it with IBA product. They did an AWESOME job!! :))) They didn't mind me asking questions along the way, were courteous, very prompt!, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. 👍🏻 I actually asked about another issue, that IBA unfortunately does not work on. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood the root causes of the problem, and spent more than 4 hours with us on site making sure we understood everything we had concerns about regarding our deck foundation and home. We had a great experience with the crew from groundwork on a waterproofing and channel installation. The team of Adrian J, Erik O. and Andrew G. Were courteous, mindful of the rest of the house as they hauled concrete back and forth, and finished the job ahead of schedule. The installation looks great. Adrian was really helpful on communication of the project and what they did and made sure all my questions and concerns were answered. The whole process from estimating, to scheduling, to the work was top notch – would highly recommend.

Chad arrived on time for a one-year inspection of work completed last year. He was friendly, thorough, and professional. While inspecting the interior foundation, he noticed that I didn't have a backup sump system and provided a no-pressure quote. An hour and a half later I had a nice backup system in place – something I've wanted to take care of for 30 years – finally done! 🙂

Abraham, Darius, and Thane were in my home on Monday. All day we could hear then laughing downstairs while they worked on our basement. They were clearly competent and very friendly, but it was the laughter that really got me. That's why the next day, when I had an event and had to go to the hospital, I was comfortable telling my husband to please tell them we were comfortable with them working there without us. Any team that gets along that well and enjoys working together that much is clearly comfortable at their work, and absolutely to be trusted. We had a blizzard after I got out of the hospital. Basement is so far so good, but I am super thrilled with their attitudes and commitment.
