Innovative Basement Authority Partners with Second Chance for Life Foundation
Event Recap
Team members from Innovative Basement Authority joined the 35th Annual Golf Tournament hosted by the Second Chance for Life Foundation (SCFLF) in Ham Lake, MN, on July 18, 2025.
The day featured something for everyone, from an 18-hole tournament to a 9-hole casual contest and a delicious dinner gathering. Guests tried their luck at a $10,000 hole-in-one challenge, raffles, a silent auction, and more.
Community Impact Highlights
Jim Prokop, a Certified Field Inspector at our Rush City branch, has a deeply personal reason for supporting this cause. His son received a heart transplant and lived 10 courageous years before sadly passing away three years ago. Jim’s story is a powerful reminder of why this mission matters. His decade-long support of this event reflects his genuine, personal commitment to making a difference in the lives of families affected by congenital heart disease.
Get Involved
This event is the SCFLF’s largest fundraiser of the year, benefiting heart transplant and LVAD patients at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Last year alone, it raised over $40,000 to provide financial assistance, educational resources, emotional support, and meaningful community events for those navigating life with heart failure.
Your participation makes a real difference. To learn more or find out how you can get involved, visit the Second Chance for Life Foundation website.
