Superior workmanship and customer service above and beyond as always by Gregg P and Brandon S. Groundworks has always been excellent the multiple times for different issues we have used them over the years. Gregg and Brandon very much lived up to those standards. I’m very pleased with Innovative Basement Authority and the employees. Our house is well over 100 years old and has needed the foundation stabilized. It was time for the yearly inspection and Jake Kinsella called to schedule. He also let me know on the day that they were coming. Jake Kinsella and Joe Carpenter thoroughly checked the placement of all supports and to see if there were more issues needing attention. They noticed the sump pump was due for replacement and recommended an upgrade to one with battery backup. That day, the sump pump system installation was scheduled. Brandon, Anthony, and Shane came to install the sump pump. They had contacted earlier to let me know when they would be here, so which I really appreciated. The old pump was removed and the new, state of the art sump pump system was installed in the larger hole that was made and it was cemented in. They had prepped the area to avoid an unnecessary mess and cleaned the area afterward. I appreciate how well IBA and employees communicate timely and appropriately. They explain in detail what they do and answer all questions. I have a great sense of peace of the mind knowing the basement is stable, safe, and will be protected from flooding

Today Bryce Jacovetti from Groundworks came to look at a crack in the foundation of my house that was leaking water. He discovered that the water was actually coming from a city water main that broke causing water to go under the foundation. He was very helpful and worked with me to get the HOA maintenance folks over to try to shut off the water. The city maintenance folks have to come over to shut the water off because it's the city water line that is broken. In the meantime, he helped me with what are the documentation and evidence gathering to do for insurance purposes. I'm very grateful he was here to diagnose and walk me through this. Thanks again Bryce!

Chad was awesome on service day. Answered every question professionally and explained the job before start. After the job was complete he explained everything that was done again and presented pictures during the process. Very professional. The only complaint I have was after getting the total quote, I asked for a breakdown of cost 3 times and didn’t receive it until the working day before the job was to start, roughly 2 1/2 months after the initial quote. I had an absurd mobility charge that costed 1/3 of my total job cost that wasn’t explained until service day. So it made it very hard to cancel with such a long wait for the work in the first place or try and get additional bids without knowing exactly what I was paying for.

This review goes out to our Inspector – Kevin from Groundwork’s in the Twin Cities. My wife and I have a garage floor that is cracked and had sunk a bit, so we reached out to Groundwork’s and a couple of other local firms to assess and quote the needed repairs. Kevin appeared right on time and talked us through the Groundwork’s assessment process. For the next 30 minutes or so, Kevin setup their equipment and analyzed the root cause of the crack and suggestions for repair. We then gathered again to discuss what he found, why the crack occurred, solutions for both the short term and long term, and pricing for each option. This wasn’t a high pressured sales call, this was a team that came prepared to diagnose the problem and present solutions! While it’s too cold to make the repairs in the middle of a MN Winter, we’ll be calling on Kevin come Spring! Well done Groundworks!
