Our steps were raised eight inches in one area! This will be the first winter we will not have to cling to the rail due to ice and a huge slope. They even removed and replaced a pot that I had forgotten to move.

My foundation was separating in my garage. I called Innovative Basement Authority out of Rush City, Minnesota. The salesman, Logan was very knowledgeable and did a great job communicating. The work was scheduled and the crew came right on time. The crew was very friendly and professional. They worked hard and completed the work in good time, leaving everything in great shape. The final bill was even less than the estimate! I had a very good experience with this company from start to finish and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a basement or foundation repair.

I called Groundworks due to a sinking sidewalk and driveway issue on my 1-year-old build that I had purchased 6 months ago. Groundworks sent out John Maness who was the most professional, and knowledgeable inspector i have ever dealt with when dealing with companies that provide home services! Even though the company is located in Fargo, they sent him out in less than a week, and he was willing to work around my busy work schedule. Johns thorough attention to detail when inspecting my home highlighted not only the issue with my concrete, but also a few hidden issues with moisture that I did not know that I had. John was prepared with all the tools and knowledge necessary to inspect my house, and had a proposal ready to fix my issues within 2 hours! What was even more mind-blowing was the actual cost to repair my concrete, and mitigate the moisture issues that I had with my home was beyond reasonable!!! Also the after service care and service that will come with my repairs and equipment is amazing!!! This company is top-notch and they will not sell you anything they do not need. I had other questions about some things that I noticed with my foundation that i had concerns about. I was informed by john that they're not here to sell me something that I don't need and he was able to show me why the the perceived issues that I had were in fact not an issue. The whole process of repairs were outlined in easy to understand videos showing the root cause of my issues and how they can fix those issues permanently, not just a bandaid! The best part about it is they will come out annually to check their work and make sure that everything is still in working order, and that the repairs that they have made on my concrete is in fact still doing its job!! They had many options for payment to include financing at an amazing rate if someone were unable to afford the repair costs. The whole process was smooth and painless. I would 10/10 recommend ground works for any foundations issues that I had to anyone!!!! Thank you Groundworks for helping me protect my investment!

The work itself appears to have been done well. One concern was dust control. We had planned to remove items in adjacent rooms; however we were told it wasn’t necessary. Unfortunately, there was more dust than expected. Overall, good work, but better dust containment would improve the experience.

Dave & John came out to our house for our regular inspection of a system Innovative installed a couple years ago. They confirmed the system was working perfectly. They also inspected the rest of the house and found the house was tilting towards the walkout side. They recommended settlestop push piers to stabilize the house and keep it locked into place. They explained the problem and solutions clearly and effectively, including the pricing and financing options. I appreciate their thoroughness and straightforward approach. Highly recommend!

I had John with Groundworks come look at house after learning my floor was out of level. He drove over and hour each way two times and spent hours in my house measuring, and hours more on the phone with me and discovered a wall that was out of plumb due to rotted supports on an overhang, causing the overhang to pull on the wall. He gave me a $13,000 beam and interior support pole proposal that he said they could do in addition to the overhang supports needing to be replaced by a different contractor, but told me point blank that what he had proposed would likely be for peace of mind only and likely a “net zero” benefit after the supports were replaced by a different contractor, so there was really no need to go through with the work from Groundworks. He could have easily told me their proposal was necessary and I’d have paid it in a heartbeat. Hours upon hours he spent working hard on my issue, identified the issue, told me how to solve it, and Groundworks never charged me a dime, even though I’d have bit hook line and sinker if he told me the proposal was necessary. Really unbelievable level of effort and integrity, I was amazed at how passionately he cared about solving my issue in the best way for me. Once in a lifetime experience.

Dustin R. (Foreman), Dustin B. and not Dustin- Kieren N. were tasked with coming to KY and putting multiple jacks and push piers on our house that has had a few additions in its 178 years. They were beyond professional, calling each morning to let us know they were on the way, keeping us apprised of any and all changes. The area for the jacks had to be dug by hand with limited clearance between the ground and joists. The 2nd day they worked in the snow and slush outdoors, in freezing temps hand digging overly saturated ground and muck. The last day was warmer with rain and water had to be pumped out to complete the job. Through all of this they laughed and joked, were cordial and respectful. The front part no longer has spongy spots and some gaps have closed or are much smaller. The work in the back part has us confident the house won't sink and fall apart. Great crew did a great job!!!!!

Although the crew was unable to complete the job we had expected, Andrew was amazing to work with. He kept us abreast of everything they ran across including what might happened if they moved forward. He was very informative and helpful. He also contacted other engineers to confirm his decision. He went far beyond helping us, he even assisted us in finding a sub contractor to rebuild the basement wall and sent them measurements and pictures of the space. He is working on getting our down payment returned. Devon and Dion were great to work with as well, friendly and hard workers. Would definitely recommend all three of them.
