Dustin Gaudette came today to do our first year maintenance check on our sump pump system and he did an excellent job! He is very personable and kind. Enjoyed talking with him very much. He found an issue with our sump pump caused by a tree in our yard and helped us resolve the problem and fixed the sump pump. We would highly recommend him and this company. I’m very pleased with Innovative Basement Authority and the employees. Our house is well over 100 years old and has needed the foundation stabilized. It was time for the yearly inspection and Jake Kinsella called to schedule. He also let me know on the day that they were coming. Jake Kinsella and Joe Carpenter thoroughly checked the placement of all supports and to see if there were more issues needing attention. They noticed the sump pump was due for replacement and recommended an upgrade to one with battery backup. That day, the sump pump system installation was scheduled. Brandon, Anthony, and Shane came to install the sump pump. They had contacted earlier to let me know when they would be here, so which I really appreciated. The old pump was removed and the new, state of the art sump pump system was installed in the larger hole that was made and it was cemented in. They had prepped the area to avoid an unnecessary mess and cleaned the area afterward. I appreciate how well IBA and employees communicate timely and appropriately. They explain in detail what they do and answer all questions. I have a great sense of peace of the mind knowing the basement is stable, safe, and will be protected from flooding

If you’re on the fence about who to hire, this is your sign- these are the pros! My partner and I had our crawlspace encapsulated and our foundation corrected. The crew sent out to us were above amazing! Casey Bratholt gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. He was friendly and so very helpful with answering all our questions and getting back to us when we called. The team of three that came out were awesome! They went above and beyond with our service. (They even helped us level out our deck steps with some of the 2×4 we had from our crawlspace!) Leonard Starks, Anthony Heryla, and Michael Dean were amicable, informative, and hard working! They made sure the job got done right! The encapsulation looks clean, and it is easier to move around in! We already notice a difference with our floors and heating throughout the house. These men were so great to have, and we really appreciate all they have done!! If we could give a sixth star for Leonard, Anthony, and Mike’s service, we would! Give these men a raise for their hard work and dedication!

We engaged groundworks to install hydraulic piers under cracked and sagging garage floors. Our terrific install team of Marc and Brandon performed a detailed analysis after they arrived, including drilling and measuring our slab depths along the sinking wall. They determined that unfortunately our slab itself was variable in depth and not thick enough throughout to support the work of hydraulic piers. Instead they were able do foam injections throughout to both give 30-50% of the targeted lift and provide additional slab depth and support to prevent future cracking. It wasn't what we hoped, but they did a great job of explaining the limitations of our site and providing the best intervention possible, all at a greatly reduced cost! Thanks, Marc and Brandon!!
