He helped me understand what's included in the solution and why its going make a big change to my home. He spent a quite a bit of time (almost 2 hours) taking all my questions/concerns and giving me feedback and answers that made sense to me. Dustin Gaudette came today to do our first year maintenance check on our sump pump system and he did an excellent job! He is very personable and kind. Enjoyed talking with him very much. He found an issue with our sump pump caused by a tree in our yard and helped us resolve the problem and fixed the sump pump. We would highly recommend him and this company. I had John with Groundworks come look at house after learning my floor was out of level. He drove over and hour each way two times and spent hours in my house measuring, and hours more on the phone with me and discovered a wall that was out of plumb due to rotted supports on an overhang, causing the overhang to pull on the wall. He gave me a $13,000 beam and interior support pole proposal that he said they could do in addition to the overhang supports needing to be replaced by a different contractor, but told me point blank that what he had proposed would likely be for peace of mind only and likely a “net zero” benefit after the supports were replaced by a different contractor, so there was really no need to go through with the work from Groundworks. He could have easily told me their proposal was necessary and I’d have paid it in a heartbeat. Hours upon hours he spent working hard on my issue, identified the issue, told me how to solve it, and Groundworks never charged me a dime, even though I’d have bit hook line and sinker if he told me the proposal was necessary. Really unbelievable level of effort and integrity, I was amazed at how passionately he cared about solving my issue in the best way for me. Once in a lifetime experience.

Anthony B. was incredible! He was instrumental in getting my basement repaired and safe for my family. He came to my home and spent a much time as I needed explaining the entire process, options, financing and follow-up maintenance. Then a team (Josh A., Jason C., and Blake C.) showed up to compete the work. They were respectful of my home and my time. They completed the work (installation of Intellibraces along two basement walls) in less than two days. My basement was left in great shape. They have me peace of mind that my home is now more stable and my family is more safe. I look forward to them returning to tighten the braces to further secure my walls. I would recommend this company and this team in particular and would be happy to hire them for future projects.

We called Innovative Basement Authority to come and give us a quote for repairing some concerns we were having with our foundation. Jan Kottke came to our home and conducted a very thorough inspection of our foundation. He explained to us that the areas that we had concerns over were not a significant threat to the integrity of our home and that we did not need any repairs at this time. Jan then took the time to educate me as to what I should watch for to maintain our foundation and know when to call them back should the need arise. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has issues with their home or even concerned about possible issues they may have. They will address your issues and give you honest answers.

DeVon T. came out to my house this morning to do my annual Innovative Basement Authority inspection. DeVon was totally professional and cordial. He inspected the sump pump and beaver system that was previously installed by Innovative and once his inspection was complete we went through his checklist and discussed everything on it. His inspection included the inside of my house, the outside of my house, the driveway and the sidewalk. He discussion was to the point and very precision. You have one hell of an employee. Had John Anderson in from Groundworks to inspect basement on pre-paid inspection. Very friendly, professional and helpful! Suggested a reconfiguration of our dehumidifier that allows us to have more space in our utility room. Highly recommend!
